We had the pleasure of going back in time and visit Haddon Hall and Hardwick Hall! Both were Fantastic!
I think Haddon was my favorite house that we visited. I loved the feel. The layout, the history, the old furniture. It was amazing.
Great photographic opportunities. Haddon hall is a medieval manor and has been described as "the most complete and most interesting house of [its] period." It was just incredible!
Look at the pattern the light makes! Beautiful! This is at Hardwick Hall.
A view from the gardens of Hardwick Hall. They also had ruins of the older house that you could explore. I loved being able to see the plaster, and the fireplaces all the way to the top of the ruins. You could climb some of the old staircases and see a view of the countryside too. It was a great opportunity.
